How to properly wash PICKAPOOH products? Washing instructions.

All our hats are made for you from the finest natural fibers.

To ensure they retain their shape and color, they should be hand-washed at a maximum of 30°C. Our body temperature is approximately 37°C. Therefore, the water for hand washing must feel COLD. Imagine you are in an outdoor pool with water that is 28°C warm.

Never use heavy-duty detergent!

Modern washing machines with a wool wash cycle and a 30° setting should be suitable; it is important to avoid the spin cycle. The tumble dryer is completely out of the question – regardless of the temperature.

Wool and wool-silk hats

Our wool and wool-silk hats particularly appreciate gentle treatment during washing, so please no excessive scrubbing and/or wringing. After washing, simply pull them into shape and let them dry at room temperature – done. This way, you will enjoy our hats for a long time.

Summer hats and caps

Please vigorously pull our summer hats and caps back into shape with your hand and the back of your hand after washing, as the cotton fabric shrinks during the washing process but does not run, which only happens if the cap is washed too hot.
